We are a medium-sized owner-managed company located in Föhren near Trier. Our services include the trade with and refurbishment of magnetic resonance and computer tomographs from the Philips family as well as their spare parts and a comprehensive service on the national and international market. At Promed, the customer comes first. In order to guarantee the best possible quality, we rely on a high-quality quality management system. This permeates our entire range of services: from purchasing from the second-hand market, to refurbishment at our site in Föhren, as well as sales and installation, to commissioning at the customer's site. In addition, we offer our customers maintenance and servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications, the performance of repairs, a large stock of readily available spare parts, the rental of MRI and CT trailers, and other service offerings.

Our quality policy

Quality is an essential component at Promed. Both product and service quality are in no way inferior to those of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). With our range of used major medical equipment, we support worldwide medical care and offer a sustainable alternative. We carry out refurbishment in accordance with the highest quality standards. This is our contribution to the development of a circular economy. Our processes are subject to continuous improvement. This enables us to refurbish and recondition more and more used medical devices in such a way that a further product life cycle is made possible. Promed attaches great importance to high-quality education and training as well as a positive working environment. Our employees are always up to date with the latest technology, which benefits the high quality demands of our customers.
Founded in 1991, Promed focused on the distribution of medical spare parts until 1998. Since 1998 we have been supplying complete MRI and CT systems from the manufacturer Philips to our customers and since 2007 we have been offering MRI, CT and CathLab trailers to reduce downtime in hospitals. In order to provide our customers with an even better and holistic offer, we have grown steadily. For example, we have hall space of around 6,000 square meters, in which various test cabins, a repair workshop, a technical laboratory, a carpentry workshop, a spare parts warehouse and a model practice are available. This enables us to prepare and maintain more and more large medical devices in a technically flawless manner.
